Help!

Have you ever wondered what you could do to stand a chance in a world of overeating and fast food? Fukumoto Fitness is now providing a cutting-edge, interactive presentation called Craving for Control: Healthy Eating in Our World of Food that will be sure to provide you many ways to get back on track with your eating habits.  Check out a further description under “Wellness Workshops”.

Here’s a little challenge.  Always take the stairs! You’ve maybe heard it before but unless you have an injury or you’re carrying a heavy load, I highly recommend  you to take the stairs.

Up We Go!

This extra physical activity over a month or the year will really help you with maintaining strength, balance (if you aren’t holding the railing), and will expend some energy (calories).  Furthermore, it will get you out of the stuffy elevator, awkward closeness to strangers, and horrible music! This goes for escalators as well.  You can walk up the moving escalator very easily.  Malls, the airport, the movies, work buildings, hotels, your friend’s apartment! Step it up!

Fukumoto Fitness wants to thank all September bootcampers as their registration contributed to the provision of 63 healthy meals for the Meals for Kids program run by the Inner City Youth Alive organization (www.icya.ca) in the North End.  On Wednesday and Thursday nights, a nutritious meal is provided for kids in a safe and monitored environment.  They also have an opportunity to help prep food and clean up while having meaningful conversations with each other as well as with adults.  This is much more than just a meal.  Thanks again bootcampers for choosing us!
